- Step 1 · Get the Seed of Anger — Talk to Charkeren — Collect 3× Family's Remains from Marsh Zombie — Bring Family's Remains to Charkeren — Darkelven Town — Ask Varika about the Seed of Anger, then find Charkeren at the waterfall north of the Neutral Zone. Kill Marsh Zombies for 3 Family's Remains and bring them to him.
- Step 2 · Get the Seed of Horror — Talk to Annika — Collect 2× Knee Bone from Misery Skeleton, Skeleton Hunter, Skeleton Hunter Archer — Bring Knee Bone to Annika — Darkelven Town — Find Annika near the entrance of the School of Dark Arts and get her Candle. Collect 2 Knee Bones from Misery Skeletons, Skeleton Hunters or Skeleton Hunter Archers and bring them to her.
- Step 3 · Get the Seed of Lunacy — Talk to Arkenia — Collect 3× Heart of Lunacy from Skeleton Scout — Bring Heart of Lunacy to Arkenia — Darkelven Town — Ask Arkenia for the Hub Scent, then kill Skeleton Scouts in the Ruins of Agony near Gludio for 3 Hearts of Lunacy and bring them back to her.
- Step 4 · Return to Varika — Bring Seed of Despair, Seed of Anger, Seed of Horror, Seed of Lunacy to Varika — Darkelven Town — Bring the Seeds of Despair, Anger, Horror and Lunacy to Varika to receive the Jewel of Darkness. You can gather the three seeds in any order.
