- Step 1 · Ask Sayres for Advice — Talk to Sayres — Gludio Castle Town — Speak with Chamberlain Sayres again and offer to help the Grey Column Guild. Only the Gludio castle lord can take this quest, and the castle must not have a contracted fortress.
- Step 2 · Send a Confidant to Pinter — Talk to Pinter — Gludio Castle Town — A clan member talks to Sayres while you stand next to them to become your representative. The representative then offers help to Blacksmith Pinter in the Town of Gludio.
- Step 3 · Report to Sayres — Talk to Sayres — Gludio Castle Town — Talk to Sayres again to learn that the guild's construction materials went missing.
- Step 4 · Talk to Bathis — Talk to Bathis — Gludio Castle Town — Ask Captain Bathis in Gludio about the attacks on the freight; he suspects a headless knight.
- Step 5 · Slay the Headless Knight — Hunt Skeleton Scout, Skeleton Bowman, Skeleton — Collect 1× Headless Knight's Armor from Headless Knight — Gludio Castle Town — Kill Skeleton Scouts, Skeleton Bowmen and Skeletons in the Ruins until a Headless Knight appears. Defeat it to get the Headless Knight's Armor.
- Step 6 · Show the Armor to Bathis — Bring Headless Knight's Armor to Bathis — Gludio Castle Town — Bring the Headless Knight's Armor back to Captain Bathis.
- Step 7 · Deliver the Materials — Bring Animal Skin, Varnish, Iron Ore, Cokes to Pinter — Gludio Castle Town — Your representative brings 100 Animal Skin, 100 Varnish, 100 Iron Ore and 50 Cokes to Pinter.
- Step 8 · Return to Sayres — Talk to Sayres — Gludio Castle Town — Speak with Chamberlain Sayres to be proclaimed Lord of Gludio.
