Step 1 · Show the letter to Altran — Bring Roien's Letter to Altran — Talking Island Town — Take Roien's Letter to Blacksmith Altran at the village forge.
Step 2 · Recover the broken blade — Collect 1× Broken Blade Top from Tunath Orc Marksman, Tunath Orc Warrior — Collect 1× Broken Blade Bottom from Tunath Orc Marksman, Tunath Orc Warrior — Giran Habor — Hunt Tunath Orc Marksmen and Tunath Orc Warriors in the Elven Ruins until you have both the Broken Blade Top and the Broken Blade Bottom.
Step 3 · Bring the pieces to Altran — Bring Broken Blade Top, Broken Blade Bottom to Altran — Talking Island Town — Give both blade pieces to Altran, who writes a note for Roien.
Step 4 · Deliver Altran's Note — Bring Altran's Note to Roien — Talking Island Town — Take Altran's Note to Grand Master Roien to receive the Broken Sword Handle.
Step 5 · Return to Altran — Bring Broken Sword Handle to Altran — Talking Island Town — Bring the Broken Sword Handle to Altran to receive the Sword of Solidarity.
