1. Step 1 · Show Benedict the doll — Talk to Benedict — Rune Town — Show Priest Benedict the Suspicious Totem Doll from the previous quest. If you lost it, the Mysterious Wizard gives you another one.
2. Step 2 · Visit Agripel — Bring Suspicious Totem Doll to Agripel — Rune Town — Give the Suspicious Totem Doll to High Priest Agripel and take the Gemstone Key.
3. Step 3 · Return to the wizard — Talk to Mysterious Wizard — Rune Town — Take the key back to the Mysterious Wizard.
4. Step 4 · Search the bookshelves — Talk to Broken Bookshelf — Talk to Broken Bookshelf — Talk to Broken Bookshelf — Rune Town — Use your Map to find the Broken Bookshelves in the Forest of the Dead and search them until a guardian appears.
5. Step 5 · Defeat Triol's Pawn — Hunt 1× Triol's Pawn — Collect 1× Suspicious Totem Doll from Triol's Pawn — Kill Triol's Pawn to get a Suspicious Totem Doll.
6. Step 6 · Open the box — Talk to Broken Bookshelf — Talk to Mysterious Wizard — Rune Town — Open the box in the Broken Bookshelf to get the Contract, then show it to the Mysterious Wizard.
7. Step 7 · Bring the Contract to the Maid — Bring Contract to Maid of Lidia — Rune Town — Give the Contract to the Maid of Lidia.
8. Step 8 · Find Lidia's Dress — Talk to Tombstone — Talk to Coffin — Collect 1× Lidia's Dress — Rune Town — Examine the Tombstone and search the Coffin that appears to find Lidia's Dress before it vanishes.
9. Step 9 · Return to the Maid — Bring Lidia's Dress to Maid of Lidia — Rune Town — Give Lidia's Dress to the Maid of Lidia and hear her story.
10. Step 10 · Ask the wizard — Talk to Mysterious Wizard — Rune Town — Ask the Mysterious Wizard about what Lidia told you.
11. Step 11 · Bring the doll to Agripel — Bring Suspicious Totem Doll to Agripel — Rune Town — Give the Suspicious Totem Doll to Agripel in Rune Town and choose whether to meet Lidia or Hardin.
12. Step 12 · Claim your reward — Talk to Maid of Lidia — Talk to Mysterious Wizard — Rune Town — Talk to the Maid of Lidia if you chose Lidia, or to the Mysterious Wizard if you chose Hardin. The reward differs slightly depending on your choice.
